Luck

Defination of luck: Success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.
"Good luck!" was what I said to him for his SPM but he answered me confidently, "I do not need luck."
Luck...is it something that can be trusted? Does luck even exist? I truly believe there is this such thing called luck. On the other hand, we cannot trust it all the time.
Take this instantly, some people are so unlucky, they were born with diseases while others are not. Or maybe this, you won in a lucky draw. This shows that you were lucky.
I mean there are luck on this earth right? Just that you cannot fully depends on luck let alone during your examination. In exams, it all depends on your hard-work and effort that you put in. I totally agree with him that he don't need luck in his exam. Maybe wishing someone good luck are only main for those who didn't study at all. Honestly, I don't like others wishing me luck in my examination either but I don't have any idea why did I said that to him. After all he's the smartest student in our school.
Maybe a sentence of encouragement like:
All the best...
Lucky Clover
God bless...
You can do it...etc. will be fine.
By the way, we are not suppose to live my luck alone but by our principles and we live for God.

Blessings of Good Luck
May you be blessed with abundant fortune and luck,
May there never come a time when you have to sulk.
I wish everything always seems to work in your favor,
I wish that you may fulfill all your aims and endeavours.

And when on days you really don't know what to do,
May lady luck keep shinning up bright above you.
Good luck to you.

An unfogetable day

It's Friday and guess what? I'm so exhausted and my 'batteries' are flat out-dead. Okay, that's not the point that I want to bring across.
Although I'm tired but today is the happiest day that happened this month and a day to remember.
Remember I told you that we kinda play chit in our exam? Miss Rachel found out about our dishonesty. =(
We confessed our 'sin' to her but not all were willing to do that. Probably they didn't saw the questions.
We were considered as the lucky ones because we were not given demerit marks and we can still register for next year (Form 5). The case was a closed case. No punishment for us except we need to clean those dusty windows which had left untouched for 'thousand' years. (nah..just joking about the years) The windows were extremely dusty. The dust was about 1cm thick! We cleaned the windows patiently despite the dirtiness of it.
My school band held a farewell party for Form 5 students. The Form 4 students were in charged of this party. So after the cleaning, we hurried to 1B. I was in charged in one of the station game. The band members were searching for us, high and low. They really show great team work when they were playing the station game.
After that, we had MacDonald for lunch. Yum...I had Fish-Fillet Burger. Everyone had a smile on their face, laughing away at some jokes, chatting around. Seeing them eating together, made me feel happy. They are my family. They are the ones I spent my time with during the suffering and tough time when we were under the hot sun practicing for hours just to complete our formation. Just watching them, can eventually 'fill' my hungry stomach. I hope this band will always work as one. I pray their spirit wouldn't die off easily to face the path ahead of them though Form 5 students will be leaving soon. I also hope that they had a great time in that party and hope that our seniors would always have a special place for us (the band) in their heart. I wish all Form 5 seniors good luck in their upcoming exam- SPM. All the best! I believe you guys can do it! ;-)

A special poem just for Shan Tao Band:
Under the hot sun,
Sweating together for the run.
Facing the battle together,
That is our motive.
Never to give in to difficulties,
That is our spirit.
Happy times,
We shall laugh together.
Sad times,
We share our sorrow.
No matter what happen,
We shall be one.

Shan Tao Band is the Best!

Yes, I can say I'm free now.

Although I can say I've time to do anything I wish but I cannot just waste my time doing my hobbies while neglecting my studies. NO. NO. NO...
We got back our Chemistry Paper2 today. My marks was like *urrghh* what the heck?! How can I possibly get this kind of marks. Those marks are meant to be with the trash, not on my Chemistry Paper! SHOOT! I did extremely bad in this term exam. I was very disappointed with that lousy mark but teacher encouraged me.
She said: " Your marks are not too disappointing after all."
I gave a light smile. You know, that kind of smile when you think it isn't that good but someone tells you that you can do better next time? It was a mixed emotion for me. I was discourage by my marks and here, teacher encouraged me.
Thanks for your encouragement and your support, teacher. I promise I'll do my best next time.
I actually wrote a note at the bottom of my exam paper.
This was what I wrote:
Dear teacher, I know that I'm one of the student that will disappoint you with my low marks. I'm so sorry. I don't know why but I just can't answer these questions. I'll try harder next year. Just give me enough time and one more chance. I know that you had putted in your effort in teaching us but it just can't 'stick' into my mind. I promise you, I'll do better next year. PS: I know I'm not suppose to write this kind of thing here, but I would like to express my thoughts to you and the only way is this.
Teacher's reply went like this:
I do believe hard work and thinking hard will help you do better. Try changing the approach and also the way you think. I am not disappointed with you, I know you had tried your best.

Nearly 3 weeks of exam

We had our exam for nearly 3 long weeks. Finally, it's soon coming to an end. It was a suffering and totally torturing period for me. Can't blame the people who came out with this idea of having exam anyway. Each day, I burned midnight's oil. Trying my best to study whatever I can. But now, the negative effect shows up. You can see thick, black eye bags are under my 'beautiful' eyes. *blerk*
Anyway, our last day of exam is on Monday. Biology and Chemistry.
I struggled with my Chemistry just now. Yesterday was like a nightmare to me. I don't have any idea where to start my revision. There was too much to study in one night. Well, it's also my fault for not doing my revision earlier on. It's no point to regret now. Just hope and pray that I will at least pass for this subject. *fingers crossed* (tightly)
I didn't put in my full effort in this term exam. Why? I'll tell you why, because much of of questions were leak out. The were some people who did some kind of prediction which was 99.99% true.
(of course, it was not a prediction) Scary huh? This is not call exam any more. We are just lying to ourselves. Well, I know I'm wrong too since I did what others did too. :(
I'll plan my time properly for this up-coming holiday.

Things to plan for:
-Tuition (especially Chemistry)
-DIY
-Girls' Day Out
-Christmas
-Sis's birthday
-Books

Things I NEED to cancel out:
-Long hours spending in front of the computer (only this!)

HA! I'll only have my freedom after Monday and yet, I'm talking about my plan for holiday here.

I found my long lost buddies.

Dearest readers,

Sorry for the delay of updating my blog. I've been so busy lately.
Well, something interesting happen recently, I found my primary school buddies. We have been separated for 7 long years. Can you imagine it? I went to Thailand when I was 9 years old and didn't keep contact with them. My dad went to Cameron Highlands few weeks ago. I think he met Sharon (my classmate's younger sister, who is also the same age as my brother) and asked her for her FB. Then, I went searching her FB account. Can't believe that I actually found her! Of course, I found her sister too and some of my classmates. They had grown up to be nice-looking boys and girls. We are 16 years old this year! Time flew by so fast. I remember when I used to spend my childhood time with them. I went to church with some of them, they came to my house for party......
My dream came to past. I'm so overwhelm to meet them again although it's just through FB.
Next, I'll persuade my parents and pray to my Father in heaven to allow me to visit them in Cameron.

My latest update..

How's things going on in my life? You would be wondering..
Here's it.
My mum went to Singapore last Sunday for a week. She's taking some kind of biblical course there. She hopes to graduate as soon as possible. Without her presence, I gotta be more independent. I always have some "girl's" conversation with her which she truly understand. Oh..how much I miss her. She'll be back this coming Saturday.
School's life had been a busy one for me, though.
There's a clarinet workshop for us in Kian Kok. We, clarinettist MUST go but we need to have a concert ticket which cost RM25. Buying that ticket is such a waste of money! Honestly, I don't have the nerve to go. Waste money and waste my precious time.
Since exam is around the corner, I had been burning midnight's candle just to do my revision. I must get some As.
We also had literature presentation today. Some handed in drawings, poems...some sang...
Of course, I wrote a poem about the short story "QWERTYUIOP". I found out that I didn't do my very best and it's kind of lousy. But to my surprise, when Miss Rachel was giving back the others their whatever paper thing, I didn't got mine back and so was some of my friends. Angie was telling me that maybe Miss Rachel likes our working and so she would want to save it for the school magazine or something else. Maybe mine was not bad. You are welcome to check it yourself and see if I deserve a high mark at http://lydiabeh.blogspot.com/ :D
That's it...#fullstop#
