RESONATE 2012 Youth Camp

Firstly, I want to thank God for implanting something new into my life. I joined a 4 days 3 nights camp held in Beringgis Beach Resort. The message preached by Ps Jeremy Seaward really gave me a 'shook'.
It was wonderful of how God work all things together.

Christians, now it is the time for us to make the first move to reach out to the lost sheep, those unbelievers in this generation. We have to wake up from our laziness and preach the Gospel. Now it's the time.

I had an encounter with God during the worship. His presence was so strong. When Ps Jeremy told us to pray for a non-believer friend, I felt that blazing fire within me. I felt afraid of my non-Christian friends being sent to that place that is not made for us but for the demons- hell. God told me to start work now, IMMEDIATELY, without delay before it's too late.

My team colour was green. I got to know some younger friends. Mostly are girls and their age are between 13 to 15. They were pretty much like my little sister in Christ, they are so adorable. I pray that they will continue to grow in the Lord. Red Rush came in first place (well, they deserve it), second place goes to Yellow Royal and third place was Blue Ranger. Our team got last but we got second place in both games. Well, probably because the guys were kind of introvert. They were a little quiet. =(

The food was delicious. There were this 'serving-food-to-the-leaders' policy. It goes like this: when you serve one of the leader, you gain extra points for your team. It is something like 'bribe'. It was interesting to see other group members who work really hard serving food in order to gain points.

I hope there will be another youth camp soon with more people and maybe teens from other countries too.
During the camp, I met some of my schoolmates and teachers. They were having this China students coming over to Sabah activity. I was pretty surprise to find out that Miss Chin was related to one of my team-mate, Elijah Wong. Hmm...this world seem so BIG but somehow it seem so small, it's kind of ironic. I think they talked for awhile.

On the last night, mostly slept very late except for me. =.=
I wasn't feeling to well and I was very tired so I went to bed once I reached my house.
I was the first to go to bed and of course the first to wake up. The next day, most of them were late for the morning devotion.
I enjoyed myself being with my crazy yet fun-loving house-mates and I also enjoyed being in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Thank God for the beautiful and sunny day. Although it drizzled a bit but it didn't pour.
