Motherhood

Another post which I just feel like posting. The possibility of me writing my diary and blog had been gradually decreasing. Sad. I know. Due to the packed time schedule thus this habit has just ~poff~ gone. (nope, basically, I lack of effective time management)
Enough of such mumbo-jumbo, let's get back to my post title.

What about it? I'm going to be a mother soon! Can you imagine that?! Me duplicating a child that may look exactly like me!
Nah, I was just pulling your leg. How could I possibly be pregnant when I'm not even married (I haven't even got my engagement ring). Of course, you would say it's surely possible if I had intercourse. With that, I'm committing an offensive crime (sin) to God. Don't wish that to happen.

Sorry for sidetracking, it's just that Mother's Day is around the corner and I would like to post something about this particular woman who is tenacious, noble and sagacious. She is my mother. After I past my adolescent years, I came to discover that a mother loses nearly everything for her offspring. She loses her beauty/ youth, her free time, her health, her dignity just for her beloved child/ children. Mother's love is the greatest gift from God. Through her, I am able to comprehend and grasp what true love is.
Recently, this issue of whether I would like to have children or not in the future kept bothering me. My boyfriend and I had discussed over this issue a few times.
He wants to have children. Me, on the other hand, still find it difficult to decide.
It's not like we're getting married any sooner but I believe once you've been in a relationship for quite some times, you would talk about topic as such. (mostly related to after marriage)
Babies are adorable, children are exuberant but when they reach teenagers, they may be rebellious. That's what terrified me the most. And it can be very hurtful for a mother to see her child leaving God. Probably, that's the reason why I'm still unable to decide....
After all, there are still years ahead before we get married. My perceptions in having children may change by then. Maybe I'm just too young to think about children now.

A short passage from Amy Tan in Saving The Fish From Drowning (just adore her writing):
"A mother is the one who fills your heart in the first place. She teaches you the nature of happiness: what is the right amount, what is too much, and the kind that makes you want more of what of what is bad for you. A mother helps her baby flex her first feelings of pleasure. She teaches her when to later exercise restraint, or to take squealing joy in recognizing the fluttering leaves of the ginkgo tree, to sense a quieter but more profound satisfaction in changing upon an everlasting pine. A mother enables you to realize that there are different levels of beauty, and therein lie the sources of pleasure, some of which are popular and ordinary, and thus of brief value, and others of which are difficult and rare, and hence worth pursuing."

Sadness is when....

I used to write frequently, expressing my thoughts into words. Words which are able to be understood and portray a picture that everyone else can imagine. These words are a remedy for my soul where sadness, anger, disappointment are turned into happiness, joy and hope. It's a strange process and therapy but it helps. I just need the exact words and emotions to write how I feel. The deepest sadness is when a relationship (regardless with family, friendship or BGR) comes to an end.

After Them.

After them,
there is a full-stop to everything they used to do together.
After them,
there is no more referring them as 'them' but 'he' and 'she'.
After them,
there is no more going back to friendship but merely a stranger they don't recognize.
After them,
there is no more future ahead of them as a pair.
After them,
what is left behind is just a memory; there are sweet ones and bitter ones.
After them,
all they can do is to carry on with life without looking back.
Because that's what it meant to be 'after them'.

Is it necessary?

Am I?

Sometimes, I expect too much and the hurts come when that expectation isn't met.

I just don't want to be that person who is hopeless and has lost the purpose of living.

As a reminder. =)

Them

It was just another regular night for her before going to bed but that night didn't seem to turn up to be as usual as she expected because it was the night when he admitted  that he likes her. For her, this sudden news happened speedily. She wasn't aware of his feelings for her. All she thought was that it was another girl from the same class as them who dazzled him. She was just curious who was that mysterious girl who managed to catch his attention. So she enquired him for a name. Not until that night when he said it was her. For once, she was taken aback by his news and didn't quite trust his words. But he affirmed her with words of confirmation that he wasn't fooling around with his emotion.
She realized that it took him extra courage to confess to her about his feelings and she believed him after some time later.
His attentive attention was once lost to another girl in his hometown. He didn't defeat himself from that girl and was wounded just like how a bird got its wing injured. She knew this incident and so wasn't ready to take him into her own hands to cure for him lest creating another wound. She wants to be sure before picking him up from his past.

It seemed to her that the world just stop spinning for that instant second, her heart rate speed up to  150bpm and her stomach started to form butterflies. He was a friend to her who she can be rude to and he doesn't mind. Well, at least that's what she thinks. A friend she trusts the most with her secrets and her deepest fear. He was someone that she ever took off her mask for, a person where she can be herself and not afraid of being the laughing stock.
That night, she was blown with complete surprise by his answer and it was her first time in nineteen years living on this planet that a guy which she might admire, affirms her that she is worth to be grown fond of. She knew that her feelings were real for him too but she needs more time to ponder over it. She never thought that this would come as quick as this. She wants him to stay true to her if his feelings were real by pursuing her for probably months or even years before she can accept him. She likes him, yes but more time is needed to prove his sincerity of love.

She remembered the day she went for photo shoots with another guy who played as Romeo, it  was the day he tasted sourness to see her being embraced by another guy. He looked at the so-called 'couples' with an aching heart and the worst part of it all, he was the one to look into the lens and give directions for them to hug tighter and smile like love-birds just to capture that atmosphere of a pair of passionate lovers...

To be continue

True story? You bet so

We are just being humans

I've seen too much ugliness in humans' trait. Is there beauty in us, humans? We're purely humans. We are not perfect, we are all being humans with flaws. Half blood (half human, half god) doesn't exist. Deep down inside each human, there's a concealed beast. Anger, Covetousness, Fear, Lust, Violence... These awful beasts cause destruction to oneself. They're known as Sins, Devil's best partner. They tear us apart from God. They can crush us into deadly pieces and if we're not careful enough, we'll be destroyed.
Without God's sufficient grace, we're FINISHED; without His everlasting love, there's no redemption of LIFE; without His unlimited forgiveness, all of us will be carrying our burden of GUILT.
"The thief comes to steal, to kill and to destroy; I've come that they may have life and have it to the full." (John 10:10)
God gave us everlasting life through His Only Son, Jesus Christ.
I faced people who cannot deal with their own anger, I witnessed people who are unfaithful, I read stories about victims beaten up by cruel and heartless masters. These acts indicate that Jesus is coming back for the second time. All these will increase continually as the world comes to an end.
I'm sad of all these happenings. I've seen too much. Mother adviced me: Either all these make me a better person or a bitter person. Better in a sense that I promise myself never to be like them or bitter by giving up hope on others and eventually God. I want to strive to become a BETTER person.
I want to bear these fruits: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Self Control.

Life, A Time Machine?

In a glimpse of an eye, another year is about to end. Starting with another fresh year → 2014 with new hopes await. What do you want to fulfill in year 2014?
Give some changes to yourself, be a better and grateful person than before. Don't be static with where you are. Instead, make improvements and push yourself to be one of the best.
It's easy just saying but to be That Person, it takes effort, determination, perseverance and patience.
Next year it will be my last year of being a teenager. I mean with a '1' in front if the second digit. 19. Exactly 5 months and 2 days to my special day.
A day which when you pass 21, you won't want to celebrate anymore. A day that reminds you of your age. It's also a good day to be thankful to your parents for not abandoning you but to nurture you.
Life. A time machine that travels you throughout the years. You see, you hear, you feel, you taste and you smell. The 5 senses that helped you carry through life.
Life may be cruel, at times. It may be sweet. This is Life. You enter a new year and end it with 365 days. Then enter another year. It's a repeating process of life...

Christmas isn't really Christmas without Jesus.

There is this verse which kept on ringing in my hand and I've no other choice but to share it.
John 3:16 says that "For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Christmas isn't about Santa Claus, neither it's about having the biggest Christmas tree, it isn't about the gift we received instead there's a special gift for everyone. The only thing you have to do is to receive Him. His name is Jesus. He humbly came to this world and interact with His own creation. He is the savior and by accepting Him into your heart, your sins are cleanse and you gain freedom. Christmas is about Jesus. The one and only one who saves us from sins, who heals, who answers prayers. So are you willing to accept this special gift this Christmas?

Object that symbolise me

This morning, our literature lecturer assigned us to use an object that best symbolise ourselves.
He was teaching us poetry, one of my favourite in English.
I associated myself with a door. There are a few reasons why I selected a house door:
A door acts as a protection to a household.
Without a door, the job of a thief will be made much more easier.
It also guards the house, preventing the owner of the house from danger and harm.
To me (since I'm the eldest), my siblings are just like the owner of the house.
When enemies attack, they usually attack the door first.
I'm willing to sacrifice first and protect them from those enemies.
They have a very special place in my heart. And I love them.
A key is also needed to unlock the door.
To know me better, a person must first have the key to unlock the inner me.
I might look serious and mature on the outside but once the door is unlocked,
there you'll find the original me.

Classes are getting fun each day. Love my course mates and my course and lecturers too.
Our class have been receiving good comments from the lecturers these past few weeks.
Proud of my class ----> PPISMP TESL Sem1.

Gratitude

Gratitude - one word that is defined as the feeling of being grateful and wanting to express your thanks, yet not everyone is able to be grateful about things.
I admit that sometimes, I can't really express my gratitude and I do not feel grateful all the time. I do complain about my life, of how terrible and lacking I am. I would also compare myself with those who are richer and more capable than me. I used to have this habit of being competitive  and being materialistic. I thought I had grown up of this stage but to my disappointment, I haven't. I've failed myself and also my mum.
It's really a sad case to see myself being this way. I hate being this way but somehow I just feel this way. Maybe I think too much, I worry about unnecessary things, of how people might think about me. It's because of ingratitude and materialisms  that I become disenchanted with what can last forever: relationships.
Nevertheless, I'm happy to have a mum who has strong will about life and also about eternity.
She is the one who nurture my down-cast spirit. She is just like calcium which strengthen my bones. I cannot imagine my life without her. She encourages me when I really need it the most. My prayer to God is please do extend her life-span on earth.
Well, I complaint to her again today. Then she told me a story.

It went like this:
There was once a girl who lived in a city but her family was poor. Her father has been borrowing money from money-lender and there were times when gangsters will come to their doorsteps, banging on the door to demand her father to pay the money that he owed. The girl's life was in danger and she never once feels safe or secure. She is always in alarmed about what might happen next. Fear dwelt within her as there would always be unexpected 'visitors' with thuggish brutality of treating to kill her family if the debts are not settled. She made a vow to herself that she will never let her mother suffer in this kind of situation any more. She wants to be rich and to be protected by true love. She craved for security. But she didn't realize that she has created a creature of unsatisfactory, the desire to owe more and ultimately turned into covetousness, longing for things people has.
After a decade, she was married to a rich man. She nearly has everything she wants but her life was never happy.
She would grumble over her life of how lacking she is but she never once think about the person who is poorer than her.

Her life ended miserably.

Finally, she asked me: Do you want your life to be like hers? Look at the people around you, not everyone is rich. Maybe God placed you in this family because He wants you to be someone better. Let's say, if you are born in a rich family, not lacking anything, will you learn to be thankful or will you to consider others besides yourself?
What she said made me thought deeply...

I like this.

Common occurrence in life.

It's past midnight and I'm still here in the living room, staring at my computer, typing.
I can feel that my eyes are going to bulge out soon.  I just need some space to put my thoughts into words and I think that Blogger is the best place. So, yeah~

Piles of assignments are stacked up, yet non has been completely done.
What's wrong with me, that made me stop?
No ideas? Have no single knowledge to doing it?
I'm feeling agitatedly irritated!
Frustrated… STRESS UP!
These feelings flown through my soul, yet it's still the same.
Not going forward, just ends there.
What am I doing?
What am I thinking?
What have I been writing? Or searching?
Where is the results?
Where the completed job?
*sigh*
They are all there…
Silence

Two weeks of Raya holidays are nearly coming to an end.
School… Oh wait, it's college life will soon start again in... (counting)
3 more days. That is equivalent to 72 hours.
I miss my college life yet on the other hand, I need more time to complete my work.
We have been told that 2013 batch (which is my first semester) will have some chances concerning the subjects we take. It will be tougher and the government deducted 1 semester from the actual period to finish this course.
So, our seniors would take 5 years and a half month to graduate while we only need 5 years. Our lecturer also stated that we are like guinea pigs to them since almost every subject have some slight chances, more critical thinking is involved.
It's tough but I made my stand of never giving up easily.
Determination is what you need to hang on.

There is no free lunch in this world.
We all have to put in effort and hard work.
Guess my efforts are not enough.

 Self motivation:
I'm not going to let stress block my way.
If it does, kick it off.
But don't forget to carry on with your unfinished work.
Stop stressing up yourself, Lydia and move on!

Just another month

Another new month has born! Welcoming baby August.

Saturday, June 29, 2013

I'm back to blogging.

Hi there, readers! It's been a decade since my last post.
There's so many interesting happenings to share with you guys.

1st of April till 28th May:
I was chosen for the National Service in Tanaki, Tambunan. Dorcas and I were placed in the same location.
Coincidence? Lucky? I am sure that God planned it. He has His own ways to make things possible.
The National Service in Malaysia is a duration of 3 months but since I'm taking form 6, there is an exception for me to attend it for only 2  months and besides that, I'll get a certificate of participation.
During my participation in this camp, I was acquainted to some friends and eventually became intimate friends. They are pretty awesome friends to be with but only they enjoy spotting for cute guys. =.=
What more intriguing about us is four of us have 慧 (hui) in our Chinese name.
There are five of us: Wei Hui, Nicole, Me, Siew Hui and Mimi.
There are times when the non-Chinese find fault with us maybe because they envy us but we always stay together just like close sisters.

I enjoy the 2 months camp being with them. I also learnt a lot from their personal life. Hope we will maintain this intimate relationship. I really treasure them a lot. =')

10th June till 17th June:
My first day of pre-university life in Kota Kinabalu high school.
New environment to adept, unknown names to be made known and unfamiliar faces to be familiar with.
I remember that I promise myself to be my best in every expect when I stepped my first step into this school.
I don't want to let myself down any more, I don't want to be disappointed with myself like I was with my SPM result. I want to acknowledge God with my good results. I am aiming for 4-flat. That wouldn't be easy for an average student like me but with God's powerful strength, I am able to do it.
My classmates are very friendly and I felt the warm among them. They are the type of persons with positive mind-set and very encouraging. I believe I can make it to the top with their help.

17th June:
The result for IPG (teachers' college) is out! I cannot believe my eyes! I was accepted! I was over-joy.
What made me even more happy was the subject I'm taking is TESL
(Teaching English as Second Language) and the college I'm placed in is just near my house!
IPG Gaya, opposite to Queen Elizabeth Hospital! I can go back during the weekends and there is no need for me to travel all the way to West Malaysia. This is really God's plan.
Luck cannot always be accurate. So, I believe it is God who is taking control of my future life.
Since God has prepare the way for me, all I need to do now is focus on my studies and run away from distraction.

Officially studying as a teacher. =)

A new chapter just begins.

Let's put our hands together to welcome year 2013!
Good-bye year 2012, we wouldn't be seeing you any more in the future and thanks for the memories you provided us with.
What had passed, had passed.
Let us not look backward but with God besides us, let us continue our journey of life.
Just like what Pastor James preached:
2 stands for (2) To be connected to a live group and ministry
0 stands for (0) Zero offences within our brothers and sisters
1 stands for (1) One mission: win at least 1 soul
3 stands for (3) Three things remain: Faith, Hope and Love.

Let us be a better us in everything we do.
Do not have any regrets about what we have done or give up in whatever goals that we haven't accomplish but to look forward and set new goals.
Just like what Paul wrote to the Philippians saying:
"Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. "

So...

Another new chapter of yours and my life just begin.
I want to write a better story in this new chapter.
What about you? ;-)

A Meaningful Holiday Trip

A pastor who is a friend of my parents sponsored us to KL.
It was so nice of him since we barely have the opportunity to visit KL and have holiday there.
We went there to celebrate his son and my sister's birthday too. They shared the same birth date! (7th Dec)
We were very excited about this trip.

Having a good time in front of the camera eh?
We reached KL around 9pm plus, we were all exhausted and didn't do much on that night.

7th December
(Happy Beloved Birthday, sista!)

We took it light and easy on the first day.
After our that delicious breakfast, we headed for Sunway Pyramid.
It was extremely huge! (We walked till our legs hurt)
I bought two books and that's it.
Things sold there wasn't that cheap. (yeah, because of its expensive rental)

Off to Sunway Pyramid
Admiring Christmas decoration
Giant Christmas tree with giant red ball being caught in my tiny hands.

Birthday Girl.
Happy Birthday, sista!

Last photo shoot of Sunway. =')

We managed to have a glimpse of Sunway Lagoon.
The tickets was rather expensive compare to Genting Highlands.

8th December
(Cameron Highlands, here we come!!!)

We woke up pretty early to travel the long distanced destination-----Cameron Highlands.
It's roughly a 3 hours drive. We stopped by at Ipoh to meet up with my mother's close friends.
She was so excited when she met them.
I think you can image that moment when best friends meet up again to catch up what they had missed.
We also had Ipoh's famous delicacy. Yummy!
After that, we went to aunty Jennifer's house to visit her two little ones.
How big they have grown!

Two best friends and their spouses
We continued our journey to Cameron Highlands.
Since it was a peak season, there were plenty of tourists and caused the traffic to be very jammed.
We were not far from Tanah Rata when I have no choice but to call my friend and cancel the appointment with him.
He was leaving for KL the next day so he planned to meet up with me that night.
But finally, I still managed to meet up with him and a few more friends in one of 24-hours Indian shop.
They had all grown up to be handsome nice looking and gorgeous teens.

I wonder how will it be if I can grow up together with them. =')
It is just so wonderful to have childhood friends.
We got the opportunity to meet up with Uncle Nathan and his family.
It was so nice of them to make that effort although Uncle Nathan wasn't feeling well.

They were the ones who treated us like their family.
They gave a great support to the church to prevent it from trembling down.
They sacrifice much of their time and money just for God's kingdom to be brought to His people.
They really love my parents as their pastor, a lot.
They know how to appreciate my parents and did not make their heart break.

*sigh*

No turning back to the decisions made by my parents.
(okay, no more on the sad part. let's come back)

9th December
(on the way to theme park, Genting Higlands 肯定害人)

Sad to say, we only managed to play 3 games because the weather isn't being too friendly to us. ='(

Uncle Andrew and his family. A old friend of my parents.
Samuel and Sarah are also our childhood friends.
How I wish I'm still in west Malaysia now. It is way better living there.
Friends and church members that appreciate my parents and who are willing to do God's work.
Mummy told me that, pastoring here in this current city, she sometimes feel very lonely.
They just treat my mum as their pastor ONLY and not their friend.
Just feel so tired and fed up with their attitudes.
Now, now stop complaining and be grateful, Lydia. =D

We went back to Sabah on the 12th December.
12/12/2012
What a date!

Yipee! SPM is almost over!

*phew* Finally!
All the burdens and stress are lifted from my shoulders!
Feel so light and free now.
But there is still one more subject, CHINESE!!!
I'm a Chinese but my Chinese language is extremely weak. Oh mine!
All I hope is that I can at least pass this language. Not too high of expectation.
My SPM target is to get 9 As. Can I make it?
It all depends on God now and the teachers, whether if they are strict ones or those kind-hearted.
The prayer I always make to God is to make my answers all right, although it's wrong but some how just make it right. Well, you never know, God do make miracles happen.
And miracles are just like magic. Things that even the scientist can't explain do happen.

Memories

Memories are one of God's best gift to human.

Memory can be defined as
-the act or fact of retaining and recalling impressions, facts
-the length of time over which recollection extends
-a mental impression retained

Basically, memory is something each and everyone has.
Memories. They could be saved in a technical gadget or even stored up in a photo album.
But the best place we could saved our memories is in our mind.
That feeling of that very most memorable, sweetest or bitterness feeling we go through could never be erased unless we go through a severe accident that cause serious damage to our brain or maybe getting Alzheimer's disease.
It feels so good to talk about the moments we spent time together.
The time when we did crazy, silly things and caused ourselves to get punishment.
After a few years, those issues are to be brought out to be talked about and laughed about.
We learnt from our past and grow during the process.

I've been keeping this beautiful photo, given by my class teacher before I moved to Thailand.
Whenever I see this photo, it's my wish that I can meet all of them one day.

Believe it or not, I didn't do any editing for this, seem that the colours  are starting to fade.

It had been roughly 7 years, no contact with them.
I can't blame neither them nor myself for not keeping in touch.
We were still kids when I left for Thailand. Worse of all, (Nicole told me) I didn't even tell them that I was leaving. Such a sad case.
Not until one day when Papa when back to Cameron Highland (him alone, without us) that I found back my childhood friends via (you guess it) Facebook.
Great thanks to the creator of Facebook.
Now people all around the world are able to connect, contact and consume most our time on it (=.=)
It's pretty interesting to see how much they have grown.
I recognized some of them instantly but some not so.
Anyway, hope that I'll have the chance to meet them someday.

A word of advice: treasure your childhood friends/ friends because friENDS do have an END when we go to our own separate ways in life and the feeling when you meet up with them after a few years have gone by will never be the same like before.
Actually, I kind of admire those who are able to grow up together with their childhood friends.

RESONATE 2012 Youth Camp

Firstly, I want to thank God for implanting something new into my life. I joined a 4 days 3 nights camp held in Beringgis Beach Resort. The message preached by Ps Jeremy Seaward really gave me a 'shook'.
It was wonderful of how God work all things together.

Christians, now it is the time for us to make the first move to reach out to the lost sheep, those unbelievers in this generation. We have to wake up from our laziness and preach the Gospel. Now it's the time.

I had an encounter with God during the worship. His presence was so strong. When Ps Jeremy told us to pray for a non-believer friend, I felt that blazing fire within me. I felt afraid of my non-Christian friends being sent to that place that is not made for us but for the demons- hell. God told me to start work now, IMMEDIATELY, without delay before it's too late.

My team colour was green. I got to know some younger friends. Mostly are girls and their age are between 13 to 15. They were pretty much like my little sister in Christ, they are so adorable. I pray that they will continue to grow in the Lord. Red Rush came in first place (well, they deserve it), second place goes to Yellow Royal and third place was Blue Ranger. Our team got last but we got second place in both games. Well, probably because the guys were kind of introvert. They were a little quiet. =(
Green Legion flag
The food was delicious. There were this 'serving-food-to-the-leaders' policy. It goes like this: when you serve one of the leader, you gain extra points for your team. It is something like 'bribe'. It was interesting to see other group members who work really hard serving food in order to gain points.

I hope there will be another youth camp soon with more people and maybe teens from other countries too.
During the camp, I met some of my schoolmates and teachers. They were having this China students coming over to Sabah activity. I was pretty surprise to find out that Miss Chin was related to one of my team-mate, Elijah Wong. Hmm...this world seem so BIG but somehow it seem so small, it's kind of ironic. I think they talked for awhile.
My dearly Chinese teacher, Miss Chin

On the last night, mostly slept very late except for me. =.=
I wasn't feeling to well and I was very tired so I went to bed once I reached my house.
I was the first to go to bed and of course the first to wake up. The next day, most of them were late for the morning devotion.
I enjoyed myself being with my crazy yet fun-loving house-mates and I also enjoyed being in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Thank God for the beautiful and sunny day. Although it drizzled a bit but it didn't pour.

Raya Holiday

It's another one week holiday but my school started our holiday earlier, we started on Thursday.
All I've been doing for this past 3 days are reading, online games (Tetris Battle) and revision.
Hhhuuu.. just got our exam papers.
I did poorly, still not satisfied with my results.
I believe I can get higher marks than just what I got. I just need to work harder and smarter.
Besides, God is also in control in everything I do. With Him, all things all things are possible.
Our problems might seem BIG to us but go and tell your problems that God is even BIGGER.

Our church is having a youth camp. Jeremy Seaward will be the speaker and it's held at Beringgis Resort. It is a 4 days 3 nights camp. Actually my brother got sponsored by some mysterious yet generous person (name unknown) and I was also hoping to go since I didn't join last year. So, 2 days earlier Sharon told me there was another sponsor and she asked if I'm interested. Wohoo! God answered my wish. But on the other hand, I still can't make up my mind cause I wanted to do my revision.
Then, I thought to myself: Since God had blessed me, why not just received it?
God is my Planner, I know I wouldn't regret going. =)
And I've my Buddy Boy (nickname given to my brother) to accompany me too.
Guess I will have fun and be filled and refreshed.

Wishing all Islam friends,
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri

(pray that one day you guys will be saved from that burning flame)

Happy Father's Day

To my dearest papa,
I'm so happy to have someone like you in my life.
You took care of me when I fall sick.
You cooked for us when mummy isn't around.
You cleaned up the house although it take much of your patience.
You were our driver when we need a ride to our destination.
You lived a life of principal which I admire much.
I promise you to study hard and smart.
To love God and live a healthy life.
To be a testimony to others,
I will never let you down, daddy.

THANK YOU for being my father.

School Reopens tomorrow!

2 weeks of holiday has come to an end. Are you ready or not for tomorrow classes? Waking up early will be our routine again. Meeting up with our school buddies, who probably had put on some weight due to the luxury they enjoyed during the holidays - food and 'sleep late, wake up late' (well, that includes me)
A reminder:
It's another important year for those Form 5 students, SPM is just around the corner (5th November 2012)! The result of this exam will determine your future. Now is not the time for just 'play-play' during class period, it's time we slap ourselves to wake up, stop day-dreaming and pay attention when teacher is teaching.
Practise for sport day will start tomorrow. It will be another loooooong day. *sigh* I've no idea why  the ministry of education held our sport day in the month of June. Why-O-why??! Such a time....
Anyway, since it will be my last year in Shan Tao, I've made up my mind to participate. Hope I can win something. =)
Oh well, hope you guys will be happy and excited to be back in school.
