Hi there, readers! It's been a decade since my last post.
There's so many interesting happenings to share with you guys.
1st of April till 28th May:
I was chosen for the National Service in Tanaki, Tambunan. Dorcas and I were placed in the same location.
Coincidence? Lucky? I am sure that God planned it. He has His own ways to make things possible.
The National Service in Malaysia is a duration of 3 months but since I'm taking form 6, there is an exception for me to attend it for only 2 months and besides that, I'll get a certificate of participation.
During my participation in this camp, I was acquainted to some friends and eventually became intimate friends. They are pretty awesome friends to be with but only they enjoy spotting for cute guys. =.=
What more intriguing about us is four of us have 慧 (hui) in our Chinese name.
There are five of us: Wei Hui, Nicole, Me, Siew Hui and Mimi.
There are times when the non-Chinese find fault with us maybe because they envy us but we always stay together just like close sisters.
I enjoy the 2 months camp being with them. I also learnt a lot from their personal life. Hope we will maintain this intimate relationship. I really treasure them a lot. =')
10th June till 17th June:
My first day of pre-university life in Kota Kinabalu high school.
New environment to adept, unknown names to be made known and unfamiliar faces to be familiar with.
I remember that I promise myself to be my best in every expect when I stepped my first step into this school.
I don't want to let myself down any more, I don't want to be disappointed with myself like I was with my SPM result. I want to acknowledge God with my good results. I am aiming for 4-flat. That wouldn't be easy for an average student like me but with God's powerful strength, I am able to do it.
My classmates are very friendly and I felt the warm among them. They are the type of persons with positive mind-set and very encouraging. I believe I can make it to the top with their help.
17th June:
The result for IPG (teachers' college) is out! I cannot believe my eyes! I was accepted! I was over-joy.
What made me even more happy was the subject I'm taking is TESL
(Teaching English as Second Language) and the college I'm placed in is just near my house!
IPG Gaya, opposite to Queen Elizabeth Hospital! I can go back during the weekends and there is no need for me to travel all the way to West Malaysia. This is really God's plan.
Luck cannot always be accurate. So, I believe it is God who is taking control of my future life.
Since God has prepare the way for me, all I need to do now is focus on my studies and run away from distraction.
Officially studying as a teacher. =)

A new chapter just begins.
Let's put our hands together to welcome year 2013!
Good-bye year 2012, we wouldn't be seeing you any more in the future and thanks for the memories you provided us with.
What had passed, had passed.
Let us not look backward but with God besides us, let us continue our journey of life.
Just like what Pastor James preached:
2 stands for (2) To be connected to a live group and ministry
0 stands for (0) Zero offences within our brothers and sisters
1 stands for (1) One mission: win at least 1 soul
3 stands for (3) Three things remain: Faith, Hope and Love.
Let us be a better us in everything we do.
Do not have any regrets about what we have done or give up in whatever goals that we haven't accomplish but to look forward and set new goals.
Just like what Paul wrote to the Philippians saying:
"Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. "
So...
Another new chapter of yours and my life just begin.
I want to write a better story in this new chapter.
What about you? ;-)

A Meaningful Holiday Trip
It was so nice of him since we barely have the opportunity to visit KL and have holiday there.
We went there to celebrate his son and my sister's birthday too. They shared the same birth date! (7th Dec)
We were very excited about this trip.

7th December
(Happy Beloved Birthday, sista!)
(Happy Beloved Birthday, sista!)
We took it light and easy on the first day.
We managed to have a glimpse of Sunway Lagoon.
The tickets was rather expensive compare to Genting Highlands.
8th December
(Cameron Highlands, here we come!!!)
We woke up pretty early to travel the long distanced destination-----Cameron Highlands.
It's roughly a 3 hours drive. We stopped by at Ipoh to meet up with my mother's close friends.
She was so excited when she met them.
I think you can image that moment when best friends meet up again to catch up what they had missed.
We also had Ipoh's famous delicacy. Yummy!
After that, we went to aunty Jennifer's house to visit her two little ones.
How big they have grown!
We continued our journey to Cameron Highlands.
Since it was a peak season, there were plenty of tourists and caused the traffic to be very jammed.
We were not far from Tanah Rata when I have no choice but to call my friend and cancel the appointment with him.
He was leaving for KL the next day so he planned to meet up with me that night.
But finally, I still managed to meet up with him and a few more friends in one of 24-hours Indian shop.
They had all grown up to be handsome nice looking and gorgeous teens.
I wonder how will it be if I can grow up together with them. =')
It is just so wonderful to have childhood friends.
We got the opportunity to meet up with Uncle Nathan and his family.
It was so nice of them to make that effort although Uncle Nathan wasn't feeling well.
They were the ones who treated us like their family.
They gave a great support to the church to prevent it from trembling down.
They sacrifice much of their time and money just for God's kingdom to be brought to His people.
They really love my parents as their pastor, a lot.
They know how to appreciate my parents and did not make their heart break.
*sigh*
No turning back to the decisions made by my parents.
(okay, no more on the sad part. let's come back)
9th December
(on the way to theme park, Genting Higlands 肯定害人)
Sad to say, we only managed to play 3 games because the weather isn't being too friendly to us. ='(
How I wish I'm still in west Malaysia now. It is way better living there.
Friends and church members that appreciate my parents and who are willing to do God's work.
Mummy told me that, pastoring here in this current city, she sometimes feel very lonely.
They just treat my mum as their pastor ONLY and not their friend.
Just feel so tired and fed up with their attitudes.
Now, now stop complaining and be grateful, Lydia. =D
We went back to Sabah on the 12th December.

What a date!
After our that delicious breakfast, we headed for Sunway Pyramid.
It was extremely huge! (We walked till our legs hurt)
I bought two books and that's it.
Things sold there wasn't that cheap. (yeah, because of its expensive rental)

Yipee! SPM is almost over!
*phew* Finally!
All the burdens and stress are lifted from my shoulders!
Feel so light and free now.
But there is still one more subject, CHINESE!!!
I'm a Chinese but my Chinese language is extremely weak. Oh mine!
All I hope is that I can at least pass this language. Not too high of expectation.
My SPM target is to get 9 As. Can I make it?
It all depends on God now and the teachers, whether if they are strict ones or those kind-hearted.
The prayer I always make to God is to make my answers all right, although it's wrong but some how just make it right. Well, you never know, God do make miracles happen.
And miracles are just like magic. Things that even the scientist can't explain do happen.

Memories
Memories are one of God's best gift to human.
Memory can be defined as
-the act or fact of retaining and recalling impressions, facts
-the length of time over which recollection extends
-a mental impression retained
Basically, memory is something each and everyone has.
Memories. They could be saved in a technical gadget or even stored up in a photo album.
But the best place we could saved our memories is in our mind.
That feeling of that very most memorable, sweetest or bitterness feeling we go through could never be erased unless we go through a severe accident that cause serious damage to our brain or maybe getting Alzheimer's disease.
It feels so good to talk about the moments we spent time together.
The time when we did crazy, silly things and caused ourselves to get punishment.
After a few years, those issues are to be brought out to be talked about and laughed about.
We learnt from our past and grow during the process.
I've been keeping this beautiful photo, given by my class teacher before I moved to Thailand.
Whenever I see this photo, it's my wish that I can meet all of them one day.
It had been roughly 7 years, no contact with them.
I can't blame neither them nor myself for not keeping in touch.
We were still kids when I left for Thailand. Worse of all, (Nicole told me) I didn't even tell them that I was leaving. Such a sad case.
Not until one day when Papa when back to Cameron Highland (him alone, without us) that I found back my childhood friends via (you guess it) Facebook.
Great thanks to the creator of Facebook.
Now people all around the world are able to connect, contact and consume most our time on it (=.=)
It's pretty interesting to see how much they have grown.
I recognized some of them instantly but some not so.
Anyway, hope that I'll have the chance to meet them someday.
A word of advice: treasure your childhood friends/ friends because friENDS do have an END when we go to our own separate ways in life and the feeling when you meet up with them after a few years have gone by will never be the same like before.
Actually, I kind of admire those who are able to grow up together with their childhood friends.

RESONATE 2012 Youth Camp
It was wonderful of how God work all things together.
Christians, now it is the time for us to make the first move to reach out to the lost sheep, those unbelievers in this generation. We have to wake up from our laziness and preach the Gospel. Now it's the time.
My team colour was green. I got to know some younger friends. Mostly are girls and their age are between 13 to 15. They were pretty much like my little sister in Christ, they are so adorable. I pray that they will continue to grow in the Lord. Red Rush came in first place (well, they deserve it), second place goes to Yellow Royal and third place was Blue Ranger. Our team got last but we got second place in both games. Well, probably because the guys were kind of introvert. They were a little quiet. =(

I hope there will be another youth camp soon with more people and maybe teens from other countries too.
During the camp, I met some of my schoolmates and teachers. They were having this China students coming over to Sabah activity. I was pretty surprise to find out that Miss Chin was related to one of my team-mate, Elijah Wong. Hmm...this world seem so BIG but somehow it seem so small, it's kind of ironic. I think they talked for awhile.

On the last night, mostly slept very late except for me. =.=
I wasn't feeling to well and I was very tired so I went to bed once I reached my house.
I was the first to go to bed and of course the first to wake up. The next day, most of them were late for the morning devotion.
I enjoyed myself being with my crazy yet fun-loving house-mates and I also enjoyed being in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Thank God for the beautiful and sunny day. Although it drizzled a bit but it didn't pour.
